White Tuna with Piquillo Peppers Tapas Kit

This Tapas Kit contains all the different ingredients you need to prepare twelve delicious Tapas of Bonito con Pimientos. This tapa is rich in omega oils and minerals, vitamins and anti-oxidants, an especially healthy combination.

Bonito del Norte is the prized, tender, delicately flavoured white tuna line-caught in the cold waters of the Bay of Biscay off Spain’s northern coast. It is cooked in salt water and packed in extra virgin olive oil, which helps keep the fish moist and flavourful.

The Piquillo Pepper is unique to the Navarra region in the north of Spain. The “piquillo” name is derived from the Spanish for “little beak”, due to its pointy shape. These small peppers are harvested in the autumn and roasted over embers to give a characteristic rich, smoky flavour. They are finally hand peeled to protect the distinctive meaty flesh.

The Extra Virgin Olive Oil is cold-pressed from Arbequina olives, a small brown variety typical of the regions of Catalonia, Aragon and Andalusia. Arbequina olive oils taste green and herbaceous with a slight pepper finish.

The pack is completed with 12 tostas, a special bread for Tapas.
